Tobias Kreuz

I am a fifth-year Ph.D. candidate in Business Taxation at the University of Mannheim. I am a coordinator of the Leibniz ScienceCampus MannheimTaxation and work in the research group Inequality and Public Policy at ZEW - Centre for European Economic Research Mannheim.

In my Ph.D., I investigate how businesses and households respond to taxation, subsidies, and regulatory thresholds, using administrative data and quasi-experimental methods.

From September to November 2026 I will be visiting the STax Initiative at Stanford University, hosted by Juan Carlos Suárez Serrato. In December 2026 I will be visiting the Economics Department of UC Santa Barbara, invited by Youssef Benzarti.
